In this global fashion and related exhibition report, we have listed no less than 20 of them covering various cities in the United States, London, Milan, Colombia, Bangladesh, Grand Canary Island, and Shanghai.
I suggest you plan your business trips around these shows and come back with more ideas. I can tell you that attending shows can broaden your views and you can bring more success to your business.

Introducing the exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts
This time I am going to take you to the Metropolitan Museum of Art which is a world-renowned art museum in New York City. It is continuously offering a very big collection of arts around the world. Many of the exhibitions are showing artifacts and arts over 5,000 years.
MET is the largest art museum in the Americas and one of the most-visited museums globally, with millions of visitors visiting the city annually and MET is the hot spot for visit. Its collections encompassing various art forms, periods, and cultures, showing in its extensive galleries and special exhibitions throughout the year.
It is said to have a massive collection of over 490,000 works of art, showcasing a wide range of artistic styles and periods.
MeT has a long history and was established already in 1870. It is still expanding and growing, and it is one of the world’s leading art institutions.
Currently its main exhibition is known as “Superfine Tailoring Black Style” which is also The Costume Institute’s Spring 2025 exhibition featuring a cultural and historical overview of Black style over three hundred years through the concept of dandyism.
Atlantic world in the 18th century was showing a new consumption, greatly influenced by slave trade, colonialism, and imperialism, enabled access to clothing and goods that indicated wealth, distinction, and taste of the era. Black dandyism started between African and European styles.
“Superfine Tailoring Black Style” explores the importance of style for Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora, particular in the United States and Europe. Through presentation of garments and accessories, paintings, photographs, decorative arts, from the 18th century until now, the exhibition interprets the concept of dandyism to allow new social and political possibilities.
Superfine is organized into 12 sections, each representing a characteristic that defines the styles—Champion, Respectability, Heritage, Beauty, and Cosmopolitanism. Together, these characteristics demonstrate a self-presentation within a society impacted by race, gender, class, and sexuality.
The exhibition will last until October 26, 2025, and it can be viewed at The Met Fifth Avenue on Gallery 999.

Opening Remark
We now move into our January issue, knowing that we are already late for our report, especially with the exhibitions and because we have changed our journal from a quarterly issue to a six-month issue, we don’t want to hold you up any further but to make our report now.
We list the fashion shows and fashion exhibition in this July issue, and in this issue, we will bring you exhibitions from July to December 2025. We found that there are less shows in the month of November and December. We hope that this can be useful to you.

Closing Remark
We have spent a lot of effort in putting all the shows together. The same effort has been spent on the Footwear Trade Show which will be appeared in a separate article. It is useful to use the two reports together as after all they are all fashion attires.
I can’t emphasize enough the importance of the tradeshows. There are opportunities and inspirations from both design and business perspective. After all it is important to make good and successful business decisions and trade shows can play an important element.
