Using this calendar as the guide for your marketing and sourcing which is the reason for our publishing on this article. Try to combine your marketing group together with tradeshows can benefit your business trip. In the tradeshows you can also meet friends, and it is always good for catching up with one another and good for social gathering.
Opening Remark
I went back for the issue before this, our January issue, and in that issue in our opening remark I did something about the organizer of our trade show, COMEXPOSIUM, which brought back a lot of good memories and nostalgic feelings. I want to continue here, in our second following issue, the July issue, and try to make it as part two of this writeup.
It is without question that COMEXPOSIUM is one of the most influential organizers of our industry. The company is a French exhibition and event organizer in Courbevoie, part of the greater Paris business district. The company was formed in 2008 through the merger of Comexpo ad Exposium.
We have to know that the French has a long tradition of trade fairs dating back centuries, and Paris remains one of the world’s leading centers for fashion, luxury goods, cosmetics, designs, and textiles. They have the expertise to bring the industries together.
In a nutshell, we can refer to them as the following:
– Organizes more than 400 B2B and B2C events annually
– Operated in more than twenty countries
– Connects more than 48,000 exhibitors
– Receiving 4 million visitors each year
– Employs around 1,000 people globally
It operates several highly recognized events for our intimate and fashion industry, such as:
– Interfilière Paris
– Salon International de la Lingerie
– Who’s Next
– Première Classe
– Curve New York
– Curve Los Angeles
At these shows, they bring the business-to-business, whereas:
– Fiber suppliers meet textile mills
– Lace makers meet lingerie brands
– Brands connect with retailers
– Designers create trends
– Buyers discover new collections
To sum up, COMEXPOSIUM is not merely an exhibition organizer. It is one of the principal coordinators of the global trade show industry. Through events like Interfilière, the Salon de la Lingerie, Curve, and Who’s Next, this French group has helped shape the evolution of fashion, intimate apparel, and sourcing communities around the world.
And because the journal has entered into an era of which we will only publish our writing in every six months, for the Global Fashion & Exhibition Calendar we will run calendars for every six months and make the report as close as possible.
We hope that you will use the calendar for going to the shows and make the most out of those opportunities. Now we are bringing you into the shows.
