We have seen another year being ruined by the coronavirus and still there is no sign for it to wind down. We have seen it moving from its origins of SAR-CoV-2 and the COVID-19 to new variants that are continued to spread. We have seen many countries who are still very reluctant to allow the travelers to enter through their borders. And because of this reason, the participants for the trade shows and exhibitions are only drawing the interest from the local proximity. The shows have lost their international flare and that further dimmed the business from the hospitality industry and the airlines.

I would like to take the example of Hong Kong for instance, the city has imposed the mandatory quarantine for any visitors, be its own citizens or other international travelers, the time will be three weeks from the date of entry. Basically it is telling people not to travel there.

As the journal, we still report the schedules for the trade shows that are always a very important reference point for our industrial players. Even for those countries that are opened for the business travelers, we feel that the crowd that they can draw can still be quite limited. That unfortunately is the reality.
