Omicron XBB.1.5 with its nickname known as “Kraken” subvariant is the new Omicron appears to be the most transmissible one so far. It is so highly transmissible that even people who have protection from vaccination or for those who have caught a recent case of Covid-19 have been infected. It has taken the time when cold weather kicked in and people are gathering indoor to celebrate holidays.

In this April issue, which is the recording for January to March, we made our report and found the cases to have been subsided.

Also the people’s life are returning to normalcy especially China has cancelled their zero-Covid policy and the world is open for traveling after three years of lockdown and many other precautions have been taken to stop the virus from spreading.

We look forward for the warm weather to return and also the flu season is over. This will bring more activities to our life hopefully.
