We used the first article we posted in our 2021 July issue to bring out this series of write-up. We walked through the way since 1978, which is also 50 years, or half a century ago. I was lucky to have started business in the textiles and later moved into garments and specialized in lingerie. It took off after China joined the WTO in 2001 when it was a friendly state and more accommodating to the other trading partners.

We have also observed that Hong Kong was the largest beneficial state with all the international companies established their office there. Together we built the supply chain and put globalization in practice.

The COVID pandemic put everyone behind deep thoughts. We started to change, already knowing that we need to change and to realign ourselves but not knowing that it came so fast and covered the whole world. Instead, we found that it has been a change to worse and not to better. And personally, I have a lot of woes since 2019 when so many unpleasant things happened around the same time. The lockdown for the pandemic killed the globalization.

What are we going to do is something beyond my time, I can continue to share my thoughts and to encourage the new players, and I believe that they are younger and more energetic than us. Kudos to them is my wish to them. what I have wished.
