THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF
FEMININITY
I came across this article by IN-Digect and was totally in a strong emotion and wanted to tell the people the beauty of feminineness. This was brought out from the hands of the sculptor, Gosia, by the ballerina’s movements of Eleonora Abbagnato, and through the photographer’s eyes of Alexander Yakovier.
I hope that you can appreciate the same and share this article to your friends.
Fragileness and tenacity, sereneness and outburst, pursuit of perfection and acceptance are all seemingly opposites, they are naturally merged into our different life forms. The tenacity in the sereneness, the timely burst of power, the spiritual comfort after the hustle and bustle is over, you may never imagine how powerful you are. But the artist is always keen to capture the unforgettable moment again and again.
On today’s special day, with the help of the creative process of the three artists, we will take you to glide in the work of different artforms, and feel the moment of femininity, or its static and even the explosive power.

Reaching An Innocent Soul Through
Hammer And Chisel
an innocent soul
“Through the sculpture works, it illustrates the tenderness, innocence and kindness of the heart of a woman. This is the softest and quietest side of woman, right down to the innocent soul.”
Born in Poland and later migrated to Canada, the sculptor Gosia is good at creating rich and diverse female faces to express the deep emotions of women.
Gosia is an artist with a lot churning in her soul. Her art is rooted in a need to process the world, society and life’s experiences. Her creative process strives to filter out the dark, the scary and the ugly in search of innocence, beauty and spirituality.

A young girl curled up naked among the mushroom bushes, like the birth of a new life. Mushrooms gently surrounded the tender skin of the girl, as if celebrating the arrival of life. This is the original state of life,
a pure symbol of life uncontaminated in the slightest.
In this sculpture it is called “In Her Eyes”, the girl’s eyes are filled with beautiful flowers. No matter what she sees with her eyes open, she can always find a beautiful side like a flower. This is a pair of eyes that discover beauty, as if to tell that every woman has the ability to look directly at a beautiful soul.
The girl is surrounded by pink flowers that have not yet fully bloomed, symbolizing the girl who is about to blossom.
On top of that, Gosia has created an imperfect woman. The left side of her face is sunken and there are different scars all over her head. However, if you look closely at her eyebrows, they are curved,
kind eyes that reveal a smile.
The contrast formed by the imperfect face and smiling eyes seems to tell people that no matter what kind of misfortune they encounter, they cannot lose the goodness hidden in the depths of their souls.
Isn’t this another kind of beauty?
By portraying the faces of women, Gosia injects her own imagination into these faces, showing the softness, kindness and innocence in the heart of women. Her works are like a ray of light with a softness that touches people’s heart.

Ballerina's Silent Scream
Silent scream of ballet
“Every movement and every look of the actress is an emotional explosion within the character, showing the rich and delicate emotional energy in the female body. This explosive energy impresses every audience.”
Eleonora Abbagnato, the current principal dancer of the National Paris Opera and the head of the Rome Opera Ballet, is a bright pearl in the ballet world.
Elenora, who was born in Sicily, Italy, with a dream of ballet, broke into the ballet world at the age of ten and started a legendary dance career.
She considers the importance of motherhood, both the inspirations of her own mother and also her hopes and ambitions for her young daughters today.
In March, Elenora Abbagnato was invited to participate in Dior Talks, a podcast produced by Dior, where she shared her thoughts on feminism in the ballet industry.
In the show, she affirmed the importance of motherhood, believing that motherhood is not only her mother’s inspiration to her, but also her hope and ambition for her young daughter.
On the ballet stage, Eleonora showed her graceful posture and devoted herself to each role emotionally.
In “The Death of the Rose”, the rose tried to grab something in an attempt to break free, but there was always a tie behind her. In the end, this delicate rose was overwhelmed by dark love and died.
In the interpretation of “La Traviata”, Eleonora used all the strength of her body to express the despair of La Traviata being unable to stay with her lover Armand. With her grief-stricken expression and her broken limbs, she moved every audience.
Sometimes, she needs to show her exhaustion, entrusting her body in the hands of others, with her hands hanging down naturally, to show a sense of powerlessness; sometimes,
she needs to show vigorous vitality, beating tirelessly on the stage.
Eleonora doesn’t hold back on her emotions on stage, breathing life into every character. Every movement, every expression, and even every part of the body of the actress is a silent cry from the depths of the character’s heart, thus expressing the rich and delicate emotions of human beings since ancient times. It has to be surprising that there is such a large amount of emotional energy in a woman’s body.

The Beauty Of Strength That Emerges From The Cocoon
The beauty of power
“With the blessing of powder and filters, the beauty of women’s strength is clearly recorded, which is the tenacity of women’s bones, calm and powerful.”
Russian photographer Alexander Yakovlev, who is famous for photographing female dancers, uses powder and filters to document the power and beauty of the female body.
Under Alexander’s lens, the power and beauty of the dance is so restrained yet violent that it seems to emerge from the photo.
One of my main inspirations is the art of dance. This was what I started with. It helped me find myself as an artist and most importantly gave me the opportunity to evolve.
The art of dance is one of my main inspirations. This was the beginning of my art career. It helped me find my identity as an artist, and most importantly, it gave me the opportunity to “evolve”.
- Alexander Yakovlev
In a work called “Awakening”, the dancer bows his head and arches his back, his right hand is extended back, his left hand is hanging down, and his right toe is on the powder-covered floor, as if a human being who has been sleeping for thousands of years is awaken. The powder was gently raised, and the resuscitated dancer seemed to be pregnant with great power, which coincides with “women breed life”.
The looming blood vessels on the arms and the sharp-edged fist show the power ready to go. At this time, the dancers are wearing old ballet shoes and tensing their feet, showing the balance between the softness and strength of ballet, making the work full of tension.
The white powder slapped the dancer’s face freely, but the dancer closed her eyes and let the powder hit, still unmoved. In this movement and stillness, the photo secretly conveys a firm power.
In Alexander Yakovlev’s work, there are dancers with twisted figures, dancing poses, hair that blows in the wind, and skeletal backs. The photographer expresses the power in the body through the blowing of powder, creates a unique artistic conception with filters, and expresses the power and beauty of the female body in the form of photos.
The pure and agile beautiful soul, the delicate emotional energy, the strength and beauty of the combination of hardness and softness, the huge energy hidden in the female body is expressed sculpture, dance and photography. Moved by the artist’s concentration and expression, we are also able to gain release, comfort and the strength to move forward.
