2020 OCTOBER – HONG KONG POLYU INTIMATE FASHION SHOW 2020

Intimate Apparel fashion show 2020 was our seventh fashion show. We were truly blessed to have our fashion show as planned on the 9th of July just one day before HK government’s re-tightening of social distancing measures in the middle of COVID-19.

If we had to cancel our fashion show, it would have been a big disappointment for both students and the Hong Kong Intimate Industries’ Association who have been tirelessly working together for our fashion show.

Our fashion show is a yearlong process from the prejudging to the fashion show day. Every year, over 35 Intimate Apparel and Activewear (IAA) specialism students horn their Intimate Apparel skills in order to get into the final 12 spots in the fashion show. Thus, the prejudging day is a sad day for those who didn’t make the final 12. However, a majority of those who didn’t make it to fashion show demonstrate their maturity by supporting the 12 finalists in anyways they could, which doubles our pleasure to work with these students from collection concept generation, garment production and final show production.

I hope you would enjoy our students’ work.
